ROSS HEMSWORTH is co-owner of Glastonbury Radio along with Jules Bending. He presents Glastonbury Today, Now THAT'S Weird and The Rock Show. Ross is a media veteran, having hosted shows for BBC local radio and various TV shows over the years. He has now settled in the area, in Godney, and he loves all things Glastonbury. It is his aim that the station not only provides a great community radio service, but also a wide range of programming and the opportunity to promote Glastonbury to the world.
Co-owner of the station, JULES BENDING is the man behind Ralph Bending Estate Agents in Glastonbury High Street. This station's Glastonbury Studio is located there. Jules has hit the headlines over the years for his unusual way of describing properties he sells and rents! One such description hailed a house as 'the kind of place where you wipe your feet on the way out'! HEIDI COUTURE first visited Glastonbury in 2001 and was forever changed by this spiritually potent place. She has her Masters Degree in Communication and taught at university level. Heidi is founder and director of WES, an international Pagan community, and a ritualist, tarot reader and trance prophecy medium. Her interests include Earth-based and Goddess traditions, shamanism, world mythology and British sacred sites. Heidi makes her home in Glastonbury at The Summerlands B&B and Retreat. She does personal tours of Glastonbury's sacred sites and Stonehenge. .
TIM SHUKER is a musicologist and historian who lectures on the classical music circuit, and his weekly programme The Unknown Muse presents an insight into some of the lesser known composers and their lives and times. SACHA KNOP is an international Soulcoach, Soulreader and Freelance Writer, coaching people from Holland, Belgium, America, Switzerland and UK to follow their heart and live their dreams. PALDEN JENKINS has lived 28 years in Glastonbury, with fingers in many pies. Till recently he was webmaster of Glastonbury's big IsleofAvalon site. He is a humanitarian working in Bethlehem, Palestine, a webmaster, book editor, photographer, speaker, astrologer and adviser. Palden is a Sixties veteran (Liverpool & LSE), founder of the UK camps movement and author of five books. He presents This is the Light Programme with the help of whizzo Gemini technical director Sir Tulki Joe Jenkins, 11.
JOHN MARTINEAU is editor and publisher of the Wooden Books ancient sciences series which scooped first prize at the New York Book Show 2007 for best non-fiction series. Author of 'A Little Book of Coincidence' on planetary harmonics, he also makes dub music as TIGGA and walks rather fast.
MATT TWEED runs Glastonbury's Pond Life Studios music recording and production company. Currently playing sitar with Transglobal Underground and bass for award-nominated folk singer Martha Tilston he is also well up on superstrings, other dimensions, and black furry inbetweeny things.
TOR WEBSTER has just finished his first seven year cycle in Glastonbury, and recently opened a small shop in the Gauntlet just off Glastonbury High Street which is the same name as his show 'Summer of Love' he has always been interested in hippie culture, especally the music, so on his show he will be playing mainly psychedelic rock from the 60's and 70's, and sharing thoughts on the movement. ESTELLIANE KERMAGORET is 100% born in South Korea, 100% bred in Brittany, and after a little journey through the mists, she has reached the shores of Glastonbury. Originally a student of Arts and Humanities, she eventually got two postgraduate degrees in business. MARK ELLIS is Ross Hemsworth's brother and, although not a resident of Glastonbury, he loves the place and gets here as often as possible. His show focuses on the music that he associates with the town, and his thoughts about and aspirations for Glastonbury. Mark plays in various bands including Dirtie Birtie, who headline many of the large Hell's Angel festivals around Europe. He also has his own twentyfour-track recording studio based in Kent, his home patch.
Journalist GEOFF WARD has been writing the Mysterious West page every Friday in the Western Daily Press newspaper since October 2004, and is also the author of Spirals: the Pattern of Existence, published in 2006 by Green Magic, of Somerset. Each week on his programme, Geoff interviews a special guest, or guests, from the esoteric realm.
PAMMY DINI host of Jazzology, lives and works in the centre of Glastonbury. Involved with the early Women’s Centres in London, and having worked and taught in the Community Arts Studio and Theatre in South London for ten years, she moved to the West Coast of America for a number of years. A DJ and film-maker "infamous in the West Country for Low Down Dirty Funk" theme party nights, including Disfunktional, The Spy Who Funked Me and First Church of Funk. But it's not just about funk! The good Doctor has an eclectic if somewhat psychedelic and sometimes even 'sleazy' tastes in tunes!
WHITEDOG from the band Local Chemistry is active in GAS, the Glastonbury Alternative Scene, that meets at the Riflemans Arms in Glastonbury on Wednesdays.
LONÉ BANG WHITESTAR combines astrological knowledge with guided tours of sacred sites and the exploration of these from a cosmological angle, especially the Glastonbury Zodiac and stone circles. She does astrology and rune readings and looks after the land by serving on the committee of Friends of Bride's Mound.
