About the programmes

AVALON ATTRACTION with Heidi Couture focuses on the mystical attraction that brings folks to Glastonbury, some indefinitely! Featuring well-known local teachers and authors, focusing on the myth and magic of all that is Avalon/Glastonbury!

GLASTONBURY TODAY is our daily live magazine show bringing you up to date with what's going on in the Glastonbury area, with a flavour of what Glastonbury is all about for those around the world. Hear about some of the things the town has to offer, together with a wide range of music that we think best reflects the area.

Mondays and Wednesdays: join the comedic duo of Ross Hemsworth and Michael Dixon for a light-hearted look at the news around town. Hear their regular hook-ups with Johannesburg and Mumbai live by phone.

Tuesdays: the Michael Line with our very own Godney correspondent Michael Dixon, fresh from the bogs of Avalon.

Thursdays it's Trevor Jones from the Witchcraft Shop with more news and events, some great music and his now-famous 'parish notices'!

Fridays, be warned, Jules Bending is not for the easily-offended! Jules is known for his no-holds-barred broadcasts, cutting humour and the now infamous Ralph's Rant!

FRESH AND FOCUSSED - grumpy in the mornings? Ever started your day wrong and everything went downhill from there? Start your day well to help you make it magical and great. Join Sacha Knop with a nice, relaxing meditative visualisation. Aligning yourself in the moment helps you focus on your day and draws that experience to you.

THE COSMIC HOUR - a full hour of wild and cosmic music from all times and places with occasional metaphysical musings from presenters John Martineau, Matt Tweed, and their special guest of the moment.

THIS IS THE LIGHT PROGRAMME - three hours of knowledge-sharing, insight and inspiration on things like climate change, the Middle East, geomancy, psychic work, futurology, community activism, para-politics and music. Join Palden Jenkins with his original-thinking guest expert-texperts.

THE WITCHING HOUR is so popular that it has now become the Witching TWO hours! Presented by Trevor and Liz from The Witchcraft Shop in Glastonbury, the programme features the latest news and music from the Pagan, Druid and Witchcraft scene.

On SUE CLARK'S TAROT HOUR you can ring in to 01458 837026 during the show for a five-minute reading! Or . Sponsored by StarChannel TV

UNKNOWN MUSE with Tim Shuker is a weekly insight into some of the lesser known composers. If classical music is your thing then this is one for the diary, and if it isn't, then you'll learn a lot from Unkown Muse and Tim's anecdotes about composers and musicians.

THE CRANE BAG reviews inspirational media - books, CDs, DVDs, courses, workshops and even places. Oracle decks are texted on air with our audience. Estelliane welcomes guests to talk about their work. Expect unusual freebies out of the Crane Bag!

DR AMAQUEEN. Each week the Doc brings you a range of styles including The Dead Jukebox (music to fit the deceased), The Substance Abuse Clinic (may or may not be about drugs!), Radio Clash (best rock'n'roll in the world!) and Dr Amaqueen's Funk Hospital (speaks for itself!). Never predictable - always controversial - tune in and let the Doctor heal your musical wounds.

BEAUTIFUL RADIO with Angela Long brings teachings that, until now, have never been available outside Tibet, blended with some lovely laid-back music for a real chill-out experience!

THE GAS BAG features tracks from Glastonbury-based and wider local bands and artists, who have performed at the GAS club (Glastonbury Alternative Scene), Wednesday nights at the Rifleman's Arms, Glastonbury. Hosted by Whitedog of Local Chemistry.

THE SILVER WHEEL OF AVALON is a topical and personal astrology programme. What is happening in the sky, in your chart and your life? What are the patterns that we seem to follow? With monthly sun-sign forecasts by Loné Bang Whitestar and Georgina Sirett-Hardie.

MYSTERIOUS WEST with Geoff Ward. Exploring the alternative universe.

RICK WOOD'S AUDIO MARTINI. Do you think that the paranormal and UFO's are all a lot of rubbish? Are you a sceptic to all things strange? Rick brings a sceptical programme that tries to debunk the paranormal, UFO's and conspiracy theories. More at www.audiomartini.com
